From this week (6th July), New Weird Australia moves into radio with the launch of a weekly show on Sydney’s FBi Radio, Thursdays 9-11pm (Aus EST). Streamed live on fbiradio.com, Stu Buchanan and Danny Jumpertz present two hours of experimental, eclectic and innovative music from around the country.

Neither one genre nor another, New Weird Australia will put the spotlight on a new breed of innovative Australian artists and challenge our understanding of what music should be. The show will also feature irregular in-studio performances and interviews with Australian artists. Future weeks include guests Tom Smith – Cleptoclectics (August 14th) and Andrew Tuttle aka Anonymeye (August 28th). Weekly playlists will be posted in our Radio section.

As with the compilation series, submissions of music from Australian artists and labels are welcomed and encouraged. See our About page for contact details.
