Goth tension with a pop heart. Atmospheric brooding with a punk edge. Dope. There are many ways you could describe the music of Gold Tango. iTunes calls it ‘Unclassifiable’. The best would be to listen to their debut EP or go to one of their dynamic live shows and come up with your own take.

The Melbourne based Stina Tester, Cinta Masters and Kody Abrams form a 8ght trio of organ, drums and guitar combined with twin harmonised vocals equally inspired by 1970s and ’80s goth, post‐punk, electro‐ pop and artists as varied as Delta 5, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode and DEVO.

Taking elements of their other projects ‐ Flesh vs Venom, Useless Children and Baryshnikov‐ the trio recently stepped out of Head Gap Studio’s with a debut self‐titled EP (on Exo Records) that documents their different styles and emotion.

Gold Tango appears on ‘New Weird Australia, Volume Four’.
