No-Art

In the fading days of January, a middle of the woods nocturnal chant circle was held. As three became a single triptych, No Art was formed. Together, they dip between the familiar and the foreign, blending meditative drones with the ebbing thrash of white noise.

In less than a year, No Art has played with Midnight Juggernauts, Lost Valentinos, Sherlock’s Daughter, Songs, The Spheres, Kirin J. Callinan and many more.  The band was also named FBi Breakfast’s Unsigned Artist of the Week, the program calling them “our kind of ambient, experimental [act]”. Recalling Liars, Sonic Youth and echoes of an African mountain tribe, No Art will weave their noise around you and drown you in the flood.

“Sydney three-piece, No Art, have been clamouring up my iTunes charts all week” – MASS HYPERBOLE

“The songs themselves were fully formed and they [got] an excellent sound on the night as they roared through their dreamy jams” – HOLD ON TO THE RAIL

“I haven’t been this excited since discovering the savage comments section in Vice’s DOs & DON’Ts” – BLOUSE SYDNEY
