Ourobonic Plague generally tries to combine elements of southern rap, drone, and various aspects of electronic music, into some kind of semi-cohesive piece. After a long stint as a hiphop MC, he began dabbling in production in 2005. Since the he’s had several releases in the form of tapes, CD-rs, and downloads, via labels including Now…This!, AMDiscs and Twice Removed. Currently working with UK label Robot Elephant Records, he has a track appearing on their “Robot Elephant vs Tundra Dubs” compilation, and is deep into the creation of an album to be released by them late in 2012. His greatest achievement in music is a mention on the personal blog of comic book writer Warren Ellis.
