Scissor Lock is an experimental project of Sydney musician Marcus Whale, exploring the tension between organic and electronic elements in sound, utilising guitar, reeds, voice, piano, singing bowls and bells along with somewhat lo-fi digital processing.
Since 2005, Scissor Lock has released music on sound&fury, Monstera Deliciosa, Curt and La Main Gauche and performed around Australia with, among others, Seaworthy, Shannon O’Neill, Anonymeye, Seth Rees, Tinderbox, The Boats, The Psuche Ensemble, Emily Williams, Founder, Raven and Mousetrapreplica.
