The Carnage Visors is a solo venture for Conor Curtis, a twenty year-old who spends his spare time trying to climb the corporate ladder. Conor’s music is typical of the bedroom musician movement, in that it reflects far-reaching listening habits and as such is kind of all over the place; 2007’s Nightwalks was inspired by the repetition and atmosphere of albums such as The Cure’s Seventeen Seconds, 2008’s Together & Down EP by Italo disco revivalist artists such as Chromatics and Farah and his 2010 – the Wailing Walls EP (available free online) – is a by-product of the recent witch-house/drag movement, characterised by groups like Salem and White Ring.
